Man-Caused Disasters = The death of American Citizens according to Secretary Napolitano

According to our new Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, 9/11 should not be considered an event of terrorism but of a "man-caused disaster".

In an interview on March 16, 2009, with German magazine, Der Spiegel; Secretary Napolitano was asked the following:

SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism." Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?

Napolitano: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

So I guess my question to Secretary Napolitano is; "So are you saying that if we as Americans mention the fact that American citizens were killed on 9/11 by TERRORISTS that we shouldn't use the word TERRORISTS so we can be politically correct and in tune with you and the Obama administration?"

Secretary Napolitano, this is NOT a game. This is not a game of "sticks and stones"....American citizens were killed not only on 9/11 but in the U.S.S. Cole bombing, the Embassy bombing in Kenya and more...these were not "man-caused disasters"...these are acts by ACTUAL radical terrorists that want nothing better then to destroy America! They shouted "Allah" as they flew both airplanes into the World Trade Center buildings; they shouted "Allah" as they attempted to fly United Airline Flight 93 into the U.S. Capital and White House but were overcome by American Heroes; and they shouted "Allah" when they used a speedboat to blow a hole in the middle of the U.S.S. Cole!

You say, "I presume there is always a threat of terrorism"....what??? You presume??? I hate to enlighten you Secretary Napolitano but these radical terrorists are waiting patiently to PURPOSELY kill Americans via another TERRORIST attack. They are not waiting to create a "man-caused disaster," they are waiting to bring a disaster upon man. These radical terrorists are not sitting by the fireside wondering if they have offended us by saying the word "Allah", but unfortunately you and the Obama administration are concerned that you might offend them by referring to them and their acts as "TERRORISTS".

I ask you, Secretary Napolitano, what does the death of American citizens by radical Islamic TERRORISTS have to do with moving away from a policy of fear? As you and the Obama administration continue to let your guard down to befriend these radicals, they are laughing in your face and waiting for the right moment to bring another TERRORIST attack on America and it's citizens. When they do, I would hate to see the United States Secretary of Homeland Security walk to the miche and say, "Sorry for that man-caused disaster. We were too busy being famous and politically correct that we didn't see it coming."

Is this Chris Dodd's final days? Let's hope so!

So now the truth comes out! Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut made a behind the scenes agreement that is now going to come back to haunt him. Over the past week, as the nation learned that the AIG executives and employees would be receiving $165 million dollars in bonuses after receiving $170 billion dollars of federal aide (otherwise known as hard earned taxpayer money); the President's administration, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Senator Chris Dodd all stated that they had NO knowledge of these bonuses until last week. Oh really? Then what in the world happened on and around February 11?

This is what happened....Senator Dodd presented to President Obama and his administration and Mr. Geithner his legislative proposal in regards to companies receiving federal aide (otherwise known as bailout money) and also regarding executive bonuses. According to Dodd, neither the administration or treasury secretary agreed with the wording of the bill and "forced" him to change it so that the "reining" in of large executive bonuses would not include any prior bonuses that were promised to executives or employees due to contractual agreements. So wait Senator Dodd, President Obama and Mr. Geithner....I thought you said you didn't know anything about these bonuses until last week which would have been March 13...hmmmm...transparency? This is the administration of transparency?

As it turns out, Sen. Chris Dodd was the largest recipient of AIG's campaign money in the amount of $103,000 and President Obama received the 2nd largest amount from AIG of $100,332.

So what was Sen. Dodd's response to all of this? In an article on Foxnews.com on Friday, March 20, Sen. Dodd responded by saying, "This is obviously a matter that should have been dealt with differently, but we are where we are." Really Senator Dodd? Maybe you are where you are at but don't take us down with you. You lied to the American people and your constituents in Connecticut! Are you going to try and sweep this under the rug like I'm sure you have done with all of your other backdoor shady deals? The bible says that money is the root of all evil...I think you have found your evil Sen. Dodd.

Connecticut, make us proud and remove this swindler from office!!
